NHL player Peter Zezel dies

Peter Zezel dies at 44. I guess he had a blood condition and died from complications from it. Though never playing for the winged wheel, he had a solid NHL career.

(A side note, KeepLeyland2 reminds people of the strict standard the blog should adhere to. We can not go searching for deaths just cause we want a win on a given day. Not necessarily the case today, just a reminder)

UPDATE: Tigers get the win, and series win, over the Royals. Procello is the youngest pitcher since Doc Gooden to win 5 games in a row. Tigers win 8-3

  1. Hail the ghost of Mr. Zezel! Thank you for the series win against KC.

  2. Hey bro...you should develop a record at the top of the blog to show how many correct this has gotten. Like "the Detroit Tigers Death Watch is 14 for 14 in predictions!" or something like that...I mean it IS baseball...we count EVERYthing!

    Blog is great!

  3. To Benjamin. I planned on it, but just wanted it to develop a bit more.
